Electrical Resistivity Tomography

We have recently completed the first phase of a combined geophysical investigation to investigate ground conditions in a slope beneath a trunk road which is prone to landslide.

The first phase is electrical resistivity tomography, followed by two types of seismic survey. The intention will be for each of the methods to complement each other and help lead to a more robust interpretation.

We slightly underestimated the physicality involved though and will definitely remember those two weeks for a long time!
